Regarding design and manufacture of these components, weight savings, higher rigidity and a perfect design are in the foreground. In addition, the aerodynamics are optimized compared to the standard fairing.
This fiberglass part was made according to the latest protocols and industry standards and can be considered to encompass all aspects of current ‚best of industry‘ practice. The part is made completely out of prepreg fiberglass materials using an autoclave.
